Honey Basbousa Cake
Ingredients:
- Butter: 50 gm
 - Prima Cream Cheese: 130 gm
 - Prima Fresh Cream: 125 gm
 - Sweetened condensed milk: 1 Pack
 - Sugar: 1 cup
 - Honey: 3 tablespoons
 - Butter: 80 gms (cubes)
 - Baking soda: 1 teaspoon
 - Eggs: 3 eggs
 - Flour: 3 cups
 
                        
                        
How to Prepare:
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
 - In a small bowl, whisk the eggs with the baking soda, then set aside.
 - In a water bath, melt the butter, sugar, and honey, stirring occasionally.
 - Add the eggs to the mixture while continuing to beat.
 - Stir until completely mixed, then remove the mixture from the heat, then add the flour to it while continuing to mix until you get a cohesive dough, then leave it aside until it cools down.
 - Divide the dough into 8 balls of equal size, then spread each ball on the work surface to become of medium thickness.
 - Bake the dough each one separately for 5 minutes until golden.
 - To prepare the filling: In the bowl of an electric mixer, butter cubes, cream, sweetened condensed milk, and cream cheese.
 - Remove the edges of each piece of dough, then crumble the removed ends and put them aside until you use them.
 - Put a piece of dough in a serving dish, then brush it with a little cream mixture, put another layer of dough pieces on top and brush it with the cream mixture, and repeat the process until you get a cake with several layers.
 - Grease the cake with the rest of the cream mixture, then spread the remaining dough crumbs on the face and sides.
 - Put the honey basbousah cake in the refrigerator for an hour and a half until it cools completely, then cut and serve it.
