Spicy Chicken and Cheddar Sutffed Qatayef

Ingredients:

  •  ½ kilo Qatayef
  •  ½ kilo chicken breast
  •  1 Pack Prima Spread Cheese with Jalapenos 240g
  •  1 small onion, chopped
  •  2 cloves garlic, crushed
  •  salt
  •  3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  •  2 tablespoons oil
  •  ½ teaspoon sumac
  •  ½ teaspoon ground dried basil
  •  ½ teaspoon paprika
  •  black pepper

 

How to Prepare:

  • Cut the chicken breasts into small cubes.
  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken, salt, and black pepper, and stir until it changes color.
  • Add onions and garlic, stir for three to four minutes, then add basil, sumac, paprika, and stir well.
  • Add 1 pack Prima Spread Cheese with Jalapenos 240g to the chicken mix and stir well.
  • Cover the pot, and leave it on a low fire for 20 minutes until it thickens, stirring from time to time.
  • Add the parsley, stir well, then remove from the heat and set aside to complete the filling.
  • Put a teaspoon of the filling in the middle of each Qatayef piece.
  • Close both ends of the qatayef until it becomes cone shaped.
  • Fry the qatayef in plenty of oil until it turns golden, then serve it hot.
